1. Do I still have to file taxes because I am over 65 years old?

Possibly, if you receive income other than social security the answer may be yes?.

2. Do I have to report income not on a w2 or 1099?

Possibly yes, business income, hobby income. 

3. Can I claim family members who live in my home and that I support?

4. Can I write off expenses that I use for work?

It depends, are they reasonably and necessary for your employer's convenience?

5. When is the tax deadline and will I be charged a penalty for not filing on time?

April 15th unless it falls on a Friday or a weekend and if you owe taxes, yes, there is a penalty.

6. How long do I have to file a return & claim a refund?

You have 3 years to file a refundable tax return.    

7. What if I do not file a tax return?

If you don't file your taxes the IRS can file a return for you, they may also file a lien against you, freeze your assets. ETC!! 

9.Will the new Tax Law affect me?

8. What happens if my spouse and I live in separate states and file Married Filing Jointly?

You can file a joint federal return and Married Filing Separately for your state return.

10. What if I owe taxes?

You have several options to pay them? Installment agreement, automatic draft, check draft, credit card.
